The Captain America filming is in the full swing of filming now and there are photos to prove it.

The scene that has all the photogs buzzing and me posting today shows everyone milling around Trafalgar Square celebrating VE Day and the end of World War 2.

The scenes look fantastic and the extras are costumed wonderfully. Really this is the first thing that has made me excited for the movie. Even more than the props and suit, these photos have started to get me ready.

Watch Captain America: The First Avenger Streaming - New Poster?

There's a new poster image for Captain America: The First Avenger floating around the internet. And I like it.

Now, as always, there is a risk that this is a fake poster put together by some very ambitious fan. And if it is, they've done a fantastic job.

I hope that this might be the real deal. That's exciting for 2 reasons.

1. It means that Marvel really is ready to start giving us Captain America: The First Avenger teasers.

2. Captain America is filming now and I can see July 22, 2011 in the distance!

Note: The date on the poster shows May 6, 2011 which is the scheduled release date for Thor... so my faith that this is a real poster is smaller now.

Watch X-Men: First Class Streaming Emma Frost Update!

The role of Emma Frost has been finalized for X-Men: First Class.

The previous report (and I was in on it) that Alice Eve had been cast in the role of the White Queen has been debunked.

The new, official report is that Mad Men star January Jones has been cast in the role.

At first I'll admit that I wasn't happy hearing the news because I'm such a big fan of Alice Eve. However, Ms. Jones is a very talented actress and a good looking lady and will be an excellent addition to the X-Men: First Class cast.

With the filming of X-Men: First Class starting soon there will be lots of information coming to us.

Watch Captain America: The First Avenger Streaming - First Set Photos!

The first 3 photos from the Bourne Woods in Farnham, Surrey have surfaced and with them we have our first look at the set of Captain America: The First Avenger.

Now, there isn't much here, but there rarely is in primary photo releases.

I'm expecting more to come soon, and I'm hoping that they will include some shots of the cast in costume doing their thing.

Watch The Avengers - The Teaser!

The teaser for The Avengers has been release. It's not much more than SHIELD head honcho Nick Fury voicing over the logo. But it's enough to get me excited for the real thing.

Take a look and think about the size of this project and what it's going to mean for the Superhero Movie genre when it comes out in the summer of 2012.

Joss Whedon has his hands full, that's for sure.

Watch The Avengers - Filming Scheduled!

Word on the street is that The Avengers is going to start filming in February 2011.

Joss Whedon will be putting the finishing touches on the story and script and getting all of his thoughts in order before everyone goes to Los Angeles to start shooting the movie.

It looks like there may even be some over lapping of Marvel filming as the Spider-Man Reboot is scheduled to start shooting in Los Angeles in December.

So, with things now only a few short months away stay tuned for more information and hopefully some set photos from what will be the biggest Superhero Movie ever made.

Watch The Green Lantern - First Look @ Kilowog!

Yesterday this photo showed up online with what may be our first look at Kilowog in The Green Lantern.

There's a chance that this is a fake, but I think this could be it.

So take a look at the shot on the right and decide how you feel about it. It's pretty good in my mind.

And now that filming has wrapped we should soon get verification and maybe even a trailer!

Watch The Green Lantern - Filming Wrapped!

That's right kids. The Green Lantern has wrapped in New Orleans and now everyone on the cast side will get some time off to get ready for The Green Lantern 2 while the editing team gets busy polishing the finished product for us.

Everyone seems very happy with how things have turned out including Geoff Johns who had this to say on Twitter: “GREEN LANTERN IS WRAPPED!!!! Finished the last shot today!!! Celebrating in New Orleans. :) As co-producer of the film, I am very, very proud of what we’ve got in store. Much more to come. Martin Campbell FTW.”

I'm happy that everything stayed on schedule for the cast and crew and am even more excited that there will soon be real movie footage to turn into good trailers for all of us to look at and drool over.
